Don't even think about bidding on this rare helmet, I'm going to win it. I plan on calling in sick to work so I can sit in front of my computer and be focused on winning this amazing Pickelhaube. I plan on bidding $3000 dollars at the last minute, and when I win it (which I will), I'm going to display it on the top shelf and always keep the light on so everyone will see this rare gem...

Good luck everyone. It's going to be mine...

Woah, what an Immaculate specimen. I certainly hope you are able to attain this wonderful pile of it.
Yes, I plan on taking out a Payday loan to acquire this exquisite helmet...

To me this helmet is more than just an investment, this is a rare keep sake piece that will only grow in value as the years pass. Furthermore, when I acquire this beautiful piece I plan on passing it down to my children so they can reflect on the magnificent history behind it.

Better bid 6000. I’m sure this one is attracting collectors all over the globe. 😉
You know what, you are right. If I'm to have this gem in my collection I better up my game. I will completely disregard what my wife says about "wasting money" on this rare specimen and probably bid $6250, because now I worry that since you mentioned 6000, I might have competition....

Thank you sir. I will have many sleepless nights if this helmet is not in my hands by the end of the month. Actually, I should immediately contact the sellers and ask for the BEST shipping option. I want FULL insurance (up to $6250) and express overnight delivery.

Yes, I would call it a pile, a pile of "greatness". You must understand that there is NO other helmet like this out there across the globe. I don't think collectors understand the value of this piece. Actually, I'm surprised the seller is parting with this helmet....

Hello,
I think you have every chance of winning the auction.

I believe that helmet is the ultra rare movie worn helmet from the Burgermeister Meisterburgers', chief of staff soldier in the true life story of Kris Kringle in "Santa Claus is Comin' to Town!"

You mean this little guy from my Christmas setup? I think he actually has a better helmet.

Some of these repro helmets are soooo bad lol, but at least he did say it was a repro in the description. Unfortunately, the buyer likely didn’t read the description and paid 275 pounds more than he should have because of it.

I think that when many eBay purchases arrive, there are great disappointments, and I don't look carefully when I sometimes see what amounts are paid without seeing the preliminary work or just a photo:rolleyes:
