Baden is where my family originated, so on a whim with some spare time today, I took some photos for fun. I am always looking for Baden shoulder straps, officer's boards, Wappens, Kokarden (James!) etc. Hopefully an officer's LGR Nr.109 Wappen will find its way to me some day.

Some day Bruno, but not yet. I am working my way to what I call my "Death Bed Collection" (DBC) of Baden and anything Totenkopf related.

I am continuing with my downsizing and I'm selling a few tunics and about seven or eight Pickelhauben this year so I am thinning out gradually.

Ironically a frosty Baden officer Pickelhaube still eludes me. None that I have seen or been offered are in the condition I want; I'm looking for one so mint that it hurts your eyes when you look at it. Possibly I'll never find one frosty enough but who knows, there might be one out there somewhere...

I was kidding, Tony. Just referring to the title of your post. I did not even suspect you might sell any of those marvels. If I had to select one though, I would go for the Dragoner. I love those.
 
Ding Ding Ding! Gentlemen we have a winner! Tony, hands down the best Baden collection on the planet! Okay maybe just need an Officers LGR 109. :)
