Baden IR 110=114 Enlisted Pickelhaube.

Just acquired this and would welcome opinions as to authenticity.
Body is heavily lacquered leather in great condition; cockades likely replacements and not sure about chinstrap.
Interior leather shows some wear. Wappen only attached with two leather straps & a bit loose.
I will let photos hopefully speak for themselves.
Thanks in advance.

It is a very clean train abteilung helmet. I had considered snagging that one myself!

Many thanks for your replies.
I cleaned off the edge where the stamp is and it now looks like T.A. 14, the 14 somewhat smudged.
I do wish the wappen was attached more securely.
Also, I presume train pickelhaubes are not as valuable as those of combat arms?

nice helmet, I think the chinstrap is fine, hard to tell on kokarden from pics.

The leather tabs holding the wappen on are correct, so a little loose is ok!

Marked Train helmets in my opinion are much harder to find and in this case holds good value.

Very attractive. Someday I need a train NCO helmet for my Train NCO tunic. I'm running out of time and money... damn it man

At under 500 bucks including taxes and shipping you did really good(y)(y)

Can you tell I was also thinking about bidding ;) Congratulations
