Hello Gents,
what are you thinking about this one?
For me, first impression, it looks very good...BUT...I don´t like the solder at the back of the griffin. #-o It looks pretty new. :-k Seems the loops have been moved or resolded... :-k Big problem for me is the ghost of a linien-Adler on the skull, under the griffin. [-X (to be seen on picts # 5 and 12). All fittings parts are looking great, but what about the chinscales on this helmet pattern??? :-k

Everything looks a bit too fresh on this helmet considering that it should be nearly 100 years old. Furthermore, I am confused about the chinscales here. It seems a EM helmet to me and therefore I am a bit suspicious about the chinscales, but perhaps there is a good explanation for it.

Does look like the wappen loops have been moved and there does seem to be a vague line eagle shadow. What about the side posts? are they grey metal? shouldnt they be silver also? or is it my aging eyes letting me down? Seems odd to me that all the other silver is nice and shiny, shiny, bright and the side posts are so dull. The one on Tony`s site has obviously silver side posts.
 
Yes, the side posts have to be silver. Here is a detailed pict of the left side post on my LGR 109.

The griffin has certainly been messed with and the other outline on the dome is pretty noticeable, when the griffin is in place. [-(
