Dragoon? With brass parts and flat scales? Did they change at some point?

Well, there's a thought. Infantry you're thinking?

It is a Baden officer helmet from the 1860's, it is dirty but still in excellent condition and very rare. The only question is.....is it cavalry or infantry. Cavalry would be worth a bit more but really who cares? It is very rare, you can sell it immediately in a second here on the forum. Before selling, look on line for similar helmets for sale on the inter net to get an idea of value.
