Baden style gift saber - Help with officer ID

This is a very fancy saber with a Baden infantry officer style guard and an impressive Damascus steel blade. The sword was a gift from one officer to another, the names are engrave on the blade. Honsell s/l Dänzer. I'm assuming they were wealthy officers in one of the Baden regiments (maybe artillery). If anyone with a copy of an officer's listing could find any further information on who these two were I would love to hear about it.

This sword and another one I have both have ""M Neumann Hoflieferant Berlin" etched on the spine and both have the same mark on the ricasso (maker's mark or possibly a master's mark). The mark appears to read "DS", with possibly another letter (O or V) between them. They are both high quality pieces and may have been made by the same bladesmith.

Hans Honsell and Friedrich Dänzer. Both commissioned into Infanterie-Regiment Nr. 113 in 1899.

Baden I R 113 is one of the regiments that Friedrich I of Baden was the Chef of the regiment
After the death of Fred I , Fred II became Chef of I R 113
Their shoulder straps are of great interest
both held the rank of Co. General with the Honorary rank of General Field Marshall
Fred I 's straps and epaulettes had 3 rank pips and GFM crossed batons
there was a change and that rank was no longer allowed the crossed batons
the straps of Fred II then had 4 rank pips.

Friedrich Dänzer was killed in action as a Hauptmann commanding 12./IR 112 on 9 August 1914 at Mülhausen in Alsace. Hans Honsell left active service still in the rank of Leutnant on 1 May 1906. Seeing further service during the war, he was promoted to Oberleutnant a.D. on 22 May 1915 in Landsturm-Infanterie-Ersatz-Bataillon II Aurich and survived the war.
