BAK???

Okay sports fans. I always thought the initials BAK represented a Navy clothing department stationed in Kiel. However, look at this postcard. Any ideas are appreciated.

saw this first at AHF and also answered there. Perhaps in this context, the Proviant Column Nr. 6 of II. Bayerisches Armee-Korps.

And it does. I have several Marine issued items marked BAK, as well as BAW (Wilhelmshaven). However, your card must mean something else? Very interesting.
 
I am not 100% certain but I think it may be an official stamp for soldiers' Mail - Soldatenbrief.

Hello all: It may stand for Koln (Cologne). Just a thought anyway. Anyone know where I can get info on IV Corp? Seem to have misplaced my links. Thanks.
