Hello all,
I found the following piece on the net and wanted to see if I'm getting good at spotting oddities:

Does it look sound to you?
Is this an M1915? Shouldn't the chinstrap be black instead of brown? Could it be a mixture of M15 & M95?

Thanks for your feedback.
Unfortunately, the pics are low res. and I couldn't really tell about the cockades myself (still learning! :-? ).
What's wrong with these? Repainted?

Hey ron,
I would aske the same about the Kockarden, as I can not see anything wrong with them, but the Wappen does not look totally kosher, it looks like it is bare steel or plated rather than painted gray, as it should be to fit the rest of the fittings.
Best

I've seen M15's on which the paint over the years has been scraped away. I don't know if a soldier or collector who desired a more shiny helmet did it, but if the paint is on the reverse side, it should be good... It's your call about the paint; if it's important to you or not. You know how that goes!
I don't think the paint was applied as well sometimes due to supply / time restraints on these helmets. Looks like all of the furniture matches though.
