I think it is. I saw the earlier in the evening and was planning on bidding on it. This has a Bavarian cross which I have been looking for - for a little while now. So :-" You up to a point you will have some competition!

At first, it seemed like it was stalling and would sell for cheap but what do you know?

Hey Joe, that is still pretty cheap, compared ti the cost of some post cards I have seen sell,

I just went back and looked, the selling price is in US$ it is not like it is real money anyway:)
 
Either they bought it directly or some 3rd party dealer did and is trying to get more money for it...

It was quite a nice cap but I wouldn't have spent that much for it ($950) to start with, let alone EUR1,650!

This hobby is getting quite expensive; I wonder if I shouldn't switch to something more 'rational'/'logical' like gold coin collecting. At least there's norms and market standards regulating value there... :-k
