Enlisted man’s Bavarian Cavalry/Artillery helmet .
The fluted spike is in this case equipped with pearl ring,( these also exist without).

Inside no other marks but the makers stamp, the name is not clear but I can see;
(Schwaben) 1916

Here’s another stamp-picture Joe ,but due to the round shape of the leather ,I think the ink never hit the surface.

Congratulations Ed on a rare helmet in fantastic condition! =D> :bravo:

My example has the plain smooth spike, and doesn't have the screw post type of attachment for the front plate as your helmet does.

This is interesting ,here we can see how different manufacturers used a different way of feldgrauwing. (I just invented that word :-" )
