I just picked up a nice Bavarian Officer Jaeger Shako to Reserve to go with the Bavarian Office Jaeger Shako I picked up in 2017 from the Doug Buhler collection.

think they look great next to each other.

Thanks to Tony's sharp eyes, it is indeed a OR wappen on the Reserve Shako, with screw back posts.

So possibly a Private Purchase OR Reserve Shako...

Yes, and an EM cockade. So for me, you have there a OYV headgear. The wearer promoted in the Reserve not further than to the rank of an "überzähliger (surnumeral) Gefreiter or Unteroffizier". The Feldzeichen is fanciful to me for that rank.
Or is it a Portepee Unteroffizier cockade with single silver ring ? In that case, the wearer would have promoted to the rank of an "überzähliger Vizefeldwebel" and the Feldzeichen would be OK for that rank.
