Some of you may have seen this one on ebay over the past few weeks. I didn't have a nice Bavarian officer helmet, so put in offers that were finally accepted. According to my sources, this could be either an infantry, foot artillery or jager officer. I hope you like the photos.
The plate lookst as if it hasn't been removed from the helmet for many years (and I'm not going to start now).
The gilding on the chinscales has darkened a bit. Any way to clean it?
I cleaned the green corrosion between the back spine and neck guard so it's looking pretty good now.
