Greg you do not need all that money to buy one! Bavarian helmets in excellent condition are not rare. The fact that this one is made of fiber explains in part its good condition.

That is just insanity. Please note everyone else dropped out at $1K as these are not rare, but two guys duked it out from $1K to over triple that. Just two guys!. The guy who lost, will probably get the next one for around $1400.

Oh yea, here is mine. Is it frosty? Yes. Is it worth $3500? NO!

These guy's nailed it, hold off and be patiant and you will get one for a fair price!

However, if you really want one, I have several I will sell for $3500 each

When I posted this, it was sitting at about $1000. Even at that
price I was not thinking of bidding on it. It will be months before
I can even think of another purchase.

I was only commenting that I really liked the looks of this helmet
and was courious as to what others thought. Now I know.
