After a few days I finally finished the job.One of the helmets was later converted into a firefighter helmet.I recreated its original purpose which is military.

I am using a German product based on black wax available on eBay.I have developed a new formula based on the original recipe.I will show its effect in the new year.I see that you are wearing mle1915 blue horizon .I recently bought two items of French army and I am looking for any information about them.Greetings

The cape is a rare bird. Field Officer Grade. The Side cap, I believe is an Infantry NCO's cap, could be an officers. Both are Minty fresh examples. I've never seen the Cape and hood. It could be 1920's, But I'm not sure.

The cape is probably of the Alpine Shasers,but I am not sure.I only found this photo.

This makes sense. I've never seen one before. You found a really nice piece. It may be enlisted. not sure.
