I'm interested in this Bavarian steel belt buckle. I have numerous brass examples of Bavarian 1895 buckles but I feel I ought to get a steel one.
It looks good to me based on the wear and soldered loop and prongs at the rear, but I'd really appreciate some opinions of other collectors. These seem to be so widely reproduced that it's gettong very hard indeed to tell an original.
