Bayern Pickelhaube

Christmas came early for me. Just received in the post my first Bavarian -- a Vulkan-fibre EM Bavarian cavalry Pickelhaube (c. 1912). Has the Knopf 91 posts, so I'll need to track down Kokarden and schuppenkette. Virtual cigars all round!

Congratulations, very nice helmet with the simplified wappen introduced in 1896.

Nice one. Are the chinstrap posts attached with large fold-over tabs?

The side posts are attached with short bend-back prongs.
