Bearskin cap of the English Guard

Looking for a bearskin hat from the English Guard for a collector friend. Maybe someone who sells such a hat knows. Or where you can get one. It will be difficult to import it to Germany

The Bearskin hat is worn by the five Foot Guards of the British Army including the Grenadier Guard, Coldstream Guard, Scots Guard, Irish Guard and Welsh Guard. I have never had a problem buying from Europe. I haven't seen one for a while, but I'll keep an eye out.

These used to be common but are impossible to find of late!

There was a shop in Fla. that dealt mainly in British Military
Years ago I owned one

Lot 253 in Marlows (UK) auction of 28 September - you’ll have to be quick! No idea if it’s authentic. If it is and has no plume it’s Scots Guards. The other four regiments had plumes. On the other hand it could be to one of these regiments and be missing the plume. Leather backing to chin chain missing but these often appear on eBay uk.

Waterloo Militaria (waterloomiltaria.com) have a Coldstream Guards bearskin for sale at the moment if your friend is still looking.
