At first glance I would say between two wars, but need to verify that.

I am also interested in colonial headgear, that of both the native and European soldiers...I am still having trouble dating this fez..

Sorry it took so long.
But hardly time for hobby's at the moment...
But I found it.
It is registered in the Militaria BELGICA 2007-2008 (jaarboek over uniformologie ) publisched by the Koninkijle Vrienden van het legermuseum.
And it is the mod 1955.
However I didn't see any fez, over time, with a tassel like yours...probably a personal fantasy...

I have to correct myself!
My first impression was right.
It is the 1935 model. The 1955 model is quiet similar but bears a golden insignia.
I'll try to ad pictures asap.
