These are 1970's reproductions that were made in Britain and have been artificially aged:

Notice how the dealer has taken great care in his photographs NOT to show stitching, overall profile, and the notorious "punched out" vent holes in the spike that these reproductions are famous for. These reproductions often show up on Ebay and, for the most part, are listed as repros. Unfortunately there is always that character lurking out there who lists, and sells, these as originals.

Thanks for your input on these its not that i collect these types of helmets but i guess everyone will appriciate it that you have sheared this here
Judging helmets is always dangerous if you cant have them in your hand

A lot of people falling for those fakes. Red flags in every photo, but if you're just starting out, it would be difficult to tell. Sad situation for the buyers.

It's sort of like,"The best geologist is [the one] who has seen the most rocks" (H.H. Read, 1940). Seeing lots of pointy hats before shelling out for one does help.
