I am researching a bandsman who was stationed in Cassel/Kassel with the "3. Hessischen Infanterie Regiment Nr. 83" from the mid- or late 1860s to the late 1870s. Members of this forum have already helped me with some very useful information.
I am interested in this book:
Justus Pape, Geschichte des Infanterie-Regiments von Wittich (3. Kurhessischen) Nr. 83 von 1866 bis zur Gegenwart (Berlin: E. S. Mittler, 1913)
I was wondering whether a forum member might have access to the book. If so, can they tell me whether it contains any information about the regimental band?
