Just arrived today:

1970-Two volumes.

The Brussels Army Museum used these and is refering to in their catalogue for the big 1979 German Headgear exhibition.

I know...In the black Brussel Army Museums Catalogue (1979) these two Gräfe volumes are already mentioned as "Rare publications" serving as the "handbooks" for this event.
Bad-bad-bad photo's but very, very detailed discriptions of each helmet.

-This Black catalogue was made for the 1979 (autumn) exhibition. In our three National languages. Many Belgians understand/speak Dutch/French/German. Early in school pupil's have the choice for their "second language"; many of the Flemish/(Dutch speakers that is) and Walloon (French speakers) will choose for the more popular English...and...these people might get into some trouble once they apply for a job later....

-and yes; sure our German speaking friends will have a first remark...starting on the catalogue front cover...
