box for 700 bullets (fur pistole 08)

This is a box from the kaiserliche marine which contained 700 bullets. It still has alot of original tags and it's complete (without the bullets ofcourse). The box was waterproof. I only saw 1 other one, but that box was missing the strap, tags and some other things. The dimensions are 24cmx16cmx9cm. Sorry for the bad pictures, but i was clearing some ond pictures from this laptop when i encountered these and tought i would share them with you.

Sorry, i forgot to place the dimension. The dimensions are 24cmx16cmx9cm.

I bought it near Raversijde, which was a coastalbattery during both wars. It was still full, but because all bullets and cardboard boxes were from ww2 i asked the seller if i could buy the big box alone. I still regret it this till day because the price wasn't that high.

Here are some new and better pictures of the box. From what i've heard, these boxes were used only on the submarines, but i don't know if that's true.
