Braunschweig Hussar Regiment nr 17 Officer's Sash

Got this on ebay.de last month. Seller had it listed as a "Prussian Portepee" so while not cheap it was not crazy. It is an officer's sash for the 17th Hussar Regiment. Like just about everything with this Regiment's uniforms this is of a unique design.
Instead of Prussian black stripes in the small cords it has blue. Also the large cords have no state colors in them and are plain silver. The tassels have much thinner rows than the Prussian and Saxon ones do and the ends are decorated with the Braunschwieg state colors.

This one came in the original box and is in very good shape for it's age. Some wear and fraying in some of the cords but there is almost no tarnish on the silver.

Shown with an enlisted one that is sadly missing the acorns. It does have an interesting name tag on it though

Thanks everybody. I wasn't planning on buying either of those sashes but now that I have them I guess I'll have to start looking for a Pelzmutze to go with them! :)
