This is a new one on me. The star part of the plate looks Saxon.
 
I thought this model seemed familiar. I believe it is a Brazilian fireman's helmet, but whether used for parade or not I don't know. That is the information I was provided.

I don't know if these were made in Germany, but the helmets are from the 1930s.
