My thoughts today have been taken up by the terrible events in Brussels....this senseless barbarism and taking of innocent lives. The events in Brussels and Paris were utterly shocking. This kind of intolerism leaves me speechless! My thoughts are with the victims and their families.

When we visited Brussels, we really enjoyed the city. The people were kind and the waiter at our favorite little diner even called us by name after our second meal there. We've been to several European capitals and many big cities, as well as the Dorfs and countryside. We've always meet friendly people, but Brussels is a very special place.
