Here's one for the camo fans. Is it the real thing? Even if it is, the price looks pretty high?

Looks good but then again, these are very hard to tell...
Overpriced, hell yes!

Here's another 2 that I can't figure out either. These things keep on popping out on eBay weekly!

I think the best would be to undig one yourself or maybe buy it straight from a GERMAN estate (since plenty of GIs camouflaged theirs)...
 
I can only access Ron's here at work (I'm on my duty-free lunch, so I'm not doing this WHILE I work :P ) But I agree, they look good, but those prices! DANG!

Agreed. A camo stahlhelm when I started collecting was $50 or less. It's a good investment, but I'm a collector, not an investor. Dunno if I'd ever sell my collection.

My collection is quite dynamic because I sometimes sell a few helmets, which enabels me to buy another one. However, the core of my collection does not change.

The price increase on steel helmets in general was the biggest shock to me when I came back to collecting 2yrs.ago. Unbelievable.
