Hello.

I am selling this camouflaged model 16 stahlhelm, dents and schraphnel hole on the top.

Marked TJ 66. A rivet is missing on the liner leather band, a name is written on a leather pouch, the pads are missing.

I ask for 550 € + shipping costs, payment by bank transfer or Paypal between friends.

Obviously, an overhead shrapnel burst from an arty shell....not good for Fritz nor for any other WW1 soldier caught in that spray of steel.
 
A lot of WWI steel helmets ended up getting a pick axe through them...

Basically to make them not fit for purpose...

Possibly often confused with battle damage.
