Can you see what's special about these two M95 Prussians?

Those are fantastic. I really like ersatz helms; thanks for posting these. I have a vulcanfiber EM helmet, but the front and rear rims are riveted on rather than sewn like your paper and glue example.
Thankyou for clarifying these types. I'been told in the past that these were lacquer covered felt shells
with vulcanfibre brims sewn on. I will start keeping my eyes peeled for one of these.

Question: all of these ive seen seem to be marked to the 29th IR. Were these ersatz helmets unique to this Regiment?
 
It's indeed chopped cardboard or paper, mixed with glue or as we call it papier maché. It's the same type helmet as the ones I started this thread with.
The regimental stamp is a nice bonus of course. Well done sir!
To answer the question if they are unique to IR29... I don't think so...
