Captured Helmets... ?

I like this photo, I mean that, it's interesting.... but still more interesting that the British managed to capture one a customs official... or at least his helmet.

Fire officer helme on the right with the typical wappen and shield on the eagle breast. Quite a mixture of pieces.

The third helmet I bought was a customs officials as on the right, except mine has an elaborate crossbase for the spike. It's dated 1909 with the early style officer's liner.

Is the Tschako from Schwarzburg-Sondershausen? And is the crown broken off or missing, indicating post-war usage (maybe from the time between 1919 and 1920)?

Perhaps broken off? Photo is dated 1915. Like I said, interesting assemblage of helmets, maybe from a local collector; rather than being captured.
We have a beer stein my wife spotted made in Pre-WWI Germany (Just a tourist type Krug).... The American tourists who bought it crossed off "Berlin 1915" penciled in on the bottom. Perhaps visited the German city before the US declaration of war and didn't want to seem disloyal... ?
Fun stuff.
