I was extremely lucky to find the aiguillette. Having found it when I was dealing on the Castell made he believe it was a deal meant to be…. Now I just need a Bavarian MMO officer cross with Swords to come my way and maybe a Bavarian St Michael Honor Cross too.
it’s just too bad I’m getting old, etc…. I’d love to enjoy these another 25-30 years.

your collection is stunning... jaw dropping pieces, and as said by others having them named to specific individuals with Photographs...
 
Garde Landwehr Kavallerie officers wartime simplified uniform. The stiefelhose are a bit more flair than what I’m used to seeing on WW1 breeches. It’s uncommon to see such a voluminous pair in WW1 photos. I’ve seen a few and would love to see more examples.
This pair is corded and has red piping.
