Chinscales question

Hi all,

can a Bavarian M1886 pickelhaube with cruciform base and big Wappen for mounted troops or artillery have straight scales (not convex)?

Three Bavarian Fussartillerie Regiment Numbers 1; 2 and 3;
-"Yellow" fittings and large Wappen (with the laurelbranches);
-Fluted spike. (Until 1916-then replaced by the Kugel);
-Flat scales;
+form spikebase.
