Cleaning and preserving Pickelhaube shells

Hello all,

My pickel haubes over the past few years have gotten pretty dusty and dull. I was wonder does anyone ever use Renaissance Wax Polish?

I have used it often for my luger holsters in the past with great results.

Wayne, I also use the Renaissance Wax polish on my helmets. I generally apply the wax to the surface, then gently buff it out with a soft cloth (usually an old sock). I put it on all parts; metal and leather alike, and you are correct; it works great.
