Run very fast away from this garbage!!!

The belt is NOT Prussian. It is a Spanish Civil War buckle and it is worth maybe $25 if you could even possibly find anyone remotely interested in buying it.

Whoever the seller is, they have some very "dodgy or sketchy items" they're trying to sell for absurdly high prices to unsuspecting newbie collectors such as yourself. I would stay far away from this unscrupulous person!

Best Wishes,

Alan

225 AUD is like $150 U.S. Dollars. And the buckle and belt is worth maybe as much as only $25. That is very bad indeed.

The dealer does not have good knowledge on military she usually sells antique furniture

My first impression is it's a civil coat thinking fire fighter and of course Allen is 100% correct about the belt.

Is that a patch on the left shoulder?

no thats for the jacket behind the "german ww1 jacket"

Ok thanks it was hard to tell from the photo.

This is what the coat should look like, no offense to the seller maybe she just doesn't know but the items are not as advertised and are way overpriced. I would stay far away. Good luck in the future and happy hunting (y)

The dealer mainly sells furniture, the dealer lacks knowledge on militaria unfortunately
, I assume the jacket that the dealer is selling is fake because the lining on the inside is different

I wouldn't be concerned about the liner; I also like the name tag in the pocket.

Fire fighters of the time had some interesting ideas of how to take on a fire. Brave occupation till this day for sure.
