On August 11th 1914, in Clémery, the 4th squadron of the 5th French Hussars fight against a squadron of Bavarian Chevaulegers. Can anyone tell me which Bavarian Chevaulegers regiment was involved in this action?
Hi, I think this was the 7th Chevaulegers Regiment. At the begin of the war, this unit was assigned to the 5. Infantry Division (Divisionskavallerie) but was split up later on.
