Crippled & bored = a re-work of Husaren Pelzmütze page

As I am laid-out for a few days here, I decided to do something useful and re-worked my reference page on Husaren Pelzmütze. I scanned a bunch of photos and added them, including one incredibly rare photo of a Reserve Husaren from Braunschweigisches Husaren-Regt. Nr.17. I almost had a cardiac when I first saw it.
I have never seen another photo of a Landwehr cross with a Totenkopf. :occasion5:

I also added information and photos or scans on parade plumes, Fangschnur, Feldzeichens, etc etc etc.

From my friend Joe I obtained a great photo of a British Tommie wearing a captured Leib Husaren Busby. You will love it.

Here is the link if you have some time to kill >> http://www.kaisersbunker.com/pt/pelzmutze.htm

Like anyone can afford a decent Pelzmütze anyways! :sad1:

Spectacular, Tony!
First time I notice the very special Totenkopf worn by Viktoria-Luise on her busby...
Hope you feel better, Bruno

Thanks to my buddy Stephen in CA, a great photo of the Reserve officers Pelzmütze of the Leib-Husaren Regiments.

Kinda like Brian's on the top of this page......... :happy3:

Tony,

Love that tribute to Princess Viktoria Luise at the end of the page. I'm with you she was the most beautiful hussar ever!

Great revison and additions Tony. I really like the new fotos. Your site continues to be the best Imperial German Headress, Uniform, CEF etc etc reference on the net. That foto of the Leib Hussar reservist feldzeichen is truly "sweet"!!! Brian

Uh, the idiot in this case would be me, not you Mark. How did I miss that? Duh. :tard: Anyhoo, thanks for the sharp eyes. It now reads 'An American soldier" etc. Thanx! Tony

This topic is a good reminder. I just renewed my acquaintance with your outstanding website, Tony & Kaiser! It really is a virtual museum, with a fresh looking design, good photographs, and very, very informative texts.
I am sure I will make more visits to your site! My renewed acquaintance has been a good start of 2007!
May I, please, put a link of your highly commendable site on my site?
Thanks for reminding and informing me again!
Happy XXVII!!!

Pierre
