I think he has a smile stating " yes I did wear it " jokingly .

Here's an excellent example of a uniform set of this regiment (11th Prince Alberts Own Hussars), by Pemburys.
The Crown prince was appointed as Colonel-in-Chief of the regiment by King George V in May 1911.
