Cuirassier Battle of The Silver Helmets

Could this have been one of the helmets that littered the battlefields? It has seen better times and I was a tad drunk when I bought it but I do like it. I had not known about this battle until I saw the wonderful one that Zebedus posted earlier. Rob

-Everything you wanted to know about this battle and never dared to ask...😎

I had a good look there are no unit markings. Has the same makers mark as Zebs . I have the large cockades but alas no chinstrap. Rob

Kürassier Regiment "Königin" (Pommersches) Nr.2- Pasewalk
-the Regiment was awarded the Hohenfriedberg Bandeau/scroll in 1845 to commemorate the centenary of the Schlacht bei Hohenfriedberg, den 4.Juni 1745. 280 years ago this year.

Seems weird; but Halen and Pasewalk people became good friends in their City partnership. Although my wife and I are not Halen citizens we have a very good bond.
-Arthur BRÜHE's manuscript on mobilisation; advance and the Battle. From a Kürassier/trooper point of view...

Traditions of the Household Cavalry.
-Excellent picture of one of the farriers. Carrying the spiked axe. For the gruesome task on the battlefields. Helping wounded horses out of their pain and to chop of the numbered hoof. These were branded with the horses army number. That proof was needed for replacement of the lost horses.
...In complete chaos of mounted combat troopers could be tempted to sell their horse and claim it to be killed in battle...
