Dear Comrades! please tell me that's the originality of this helmet. Personally, I do not like it, it seems to me that it made helmet

Just looking quickly, it looks like an M15 Metlach (or what ever that manufacturer was) with a JzP spike. Any stamps or markings? Can you get better photos?

unfortunately there is no other photo. Just a dispute arose about the authenticity of the details of the helmet. I believe that the eagle is not with the helmet

I'd agree with that. I can't tell, but the inside of the dome looks like it has something like tape or thick paint on it...??? I think (I may be wrong), but it looks like an original shell.

And that would be because this maker Lackmann made these helmets with a tail that went straight down almost 90°. Other makers tended to have a more gentle slope.

That was my thought. LACHMANN, not Metlach... always have bier u. Krugs (Beer and steins) on my mind (dope).
That brings up my next question. Would the spike perhaps be original as an ersatz type? One would have to look really close at the helmet to trust that it was.
So, what's the story with the helmet? Was it offered to you for sale? If so and the price is cheap, it would be a nice shell at the very least and a good project.

A closer look now, are the side posts also brass? If so, that raises more questions and perhaps speculation with steel trim on the shell and spike base... I would certainly agree with you that it's been pieced together. Spoke a bit too quickly in my first post, sorry. egg on my face...
I still say that if it's not expensive, a nice shell and project piece, but what I consider a good price these days, others would think I'm nuts and overly miserly.
Also, please understand that I have to tools to remove those dents and big crease in the back of the shell... so my perspective on a 'good project' may be different than others.

M15 shell and spike, brass M91 side posts, brass (repro looking) helmet plate.... for me it means puzzled together. If it's really cheep, you can use it as a restauration base, but beware... this may take a very long time to get everything together...
Good luck!

The inside of the dome looks odd too, plastic? Tape? Paint? Maybe best to let this one go, unless you can get a cheap shell out of it. My cheap is probably 800 euros below what their minimum would be.
Again, I need to get my head out of my arm pit (or other places) and look closer before commenting! Bad first post with such obvious questions concerning this one.

Here's a much better bet:

Cinstrap and cockades are replaced, but the rest is MUCH better than the one you were looking at.. and at a better buy it now price. You'd have to contact him about shipping overseas if you're in Europe. A very nice helmet IMHO.

Here's another Lachmann, 18 hours left, 400 Euros at the moment.
