Well, I do have two replicas. One is a sixth Kuerassier helmet that I purchased before my original came on the market and the other is a felt 'Colonial' type. Both were very inexpensive and are just fun for parties and such. I guess these might be good for similar although the two I own look about 70% like originals and might be taken as such from a few meters away. Neither stands up to close inspection, but again, they're for fun.... can't really wear an original.
I thought the two in the auction were pretty strange looking, especially given all of the anomalies in them!
