Das Bunker Visit in Pictures

I had earrings once, in a university course, the instructor was very anti earring for guys, so a couple of the girls brought clip on ear rings for all the guys. I slipped away at lunch (we were supposed to wear them after lunch) and went to the dime store and bought a pair of cheap pierced ear rings and a tube of super glue. I cut the pins off the ear rings and glued them to my ear, and then I glued the backs to the inside of my ears. When the ear rings were being passed out, I told the girls that I did not need any as I had my ears pierced over lunch. One of the girls ran over and grabbed my ear and turned it over and saw the back and declared that I really had done it. It turned out that getting my ears pierced would have been less painful than pulling them off when they were glued on.
 
Thanks for sharing Gus....that explains so much. No wonder your concern about my ear rings, the sight of them obviously brings back painful memories from your youth! You should have gone for the real thing, no real pain at all. You experienced trauma here Gus, we can talk over a few beers at the next SOS, if you want I can bring one of my stitching needles down with me and I will personally pierce one of your ears!
 
No thanks, I have had my ears pierced many times, but so far they have managed to heal up:)
 
Great to see my old helmet again! It's the helmet on the right in the third photo, upgraded by Tony with a nice original chinstrap! To pay a visit to the bunker would be a dream come true! 8)

Nein, as far as I know, Mann hat kein el' gramatiks-o when mixing languages. Oi, it can be a problem, but I'm sure we can all 'si' our way clear to having some fun with it. Has that your frage ge-answered?

But I tend to stick to and respect the language: singular and plural. Unit/branch designation, headgear etc...

Either correct or translated; no mix !
But....gentlemen: This is just my humble opinion !!
