No, it's not a helmet but I can't recommend this cd enough to anyone interested enough in Imperial Germany to join this group. Original period recordings of surprisingly good quality, comes with an extremely well done and informative booklet describing what you are hearing, like the "New Year's Reveille in the Berlin Lustgarten", recorded in 1903 by the band of the Kaiser Franz Garde Grenadier Regiment. My favorite is the "Grosse Parade auf dem Tempelhofer Feld bei Berlin", recorded in 1911 complete with barked drill commands. A Gem!
