Decoding markings

Militaria neophyte....would appreciate help with decoding these markings (see attachment) found on a Bavarian pickelhaube. Thanks
 
1B 4C (both crossed): formerly from the 1st battalion, 4th company of some regiment (the number of which should be stamped on the other side of the rear visor).
Then probably re-attributed to an MGK (Maschinengewehr Kompanie).

Appreciate this prompt and helpful response. "JR150" does indeed appear on the other side of the rear visor. Is there an authoritative online - or print - reference that would allow me to decode these myself?

hate to tell you but JR 150 is not Bavarian.
 
Thanks Joe for pointing me to this interesting article. This would seem to suggest that the Bavarian wappen is not an original attachment however, there also remains the possibility that this Bavarian helmet got reissued at some point to a non-Bavarian unit?

Is the latter at all possible?
 
if your helmet was reissued at some point it has to be marked
with a bekleidungsambt belonging to bavarian units
if you remove the plate witch inprint do you see ,only from the bavarian plate or yet another one
does it have 'double 'holes witch are filled in or not
filled in holes are orignal altered at that bekleidungsdepot
roughley made holes may indicate that is was selfmade by another person
normaly there has to be the lettre 'f' sommwere for 'feldbrauchbar'
i sugest dig in to your helmet and let us know what you have found

They did not all have this. Though I have not found the documentation, it appears as though that became the garniture Mark expedient symbol at some in some Bekleidungs Instandsetzung. I do not think that Mark was applied by any BKA but only by the Bekleidungs Instandsetzung. my current two cents worth. I need more coffee.
