Also, bear in mind that a DEWAT must have been registered, or it must be cut. I think the right side plate is the controlled part on the 08 and 08/15, but you need to be sure.
 
Larry, do you mean a dummy gun? Original parts with a dummy (cut or solid) receiver? Unfortunately there is much confusion between a DEWAT and a dummy gun. A dummy with a solid receiver is NOT a gun. A DEWAT as Gus noted needed to be registered.

This is one of the key reasons why you can't import a European DEWAT. The rules for what deactivated a gun are different.

There were several very nice dummy MG08s at Show of Shows.
