Dodgy looking Fuerst plates.

An interesting glut of questionable Fuerst plates on ebay at this time. Links below. The first link, a 94.R. plate in France. This to me looks like a fine grain sand casting as opposed to a galvano plate. Lots of speckled imperfections to the front and back. Soft detailing to the middle of the back to the feather detailing. That said, it does look as though it has traces of a gold wash finish.

The next three, all for sale by one seller, a Lady called Agnes. I do not believe this person is trying to mislead, the same seller has been dissolving a collection for weeks and has listed some nice pieces. It looks as though the seller is now down to the rarer pieces. First, a 92.R. with horse plate. Again looks like a fine sand casting rather than galvano. Fine pitting overall and it looks like the casting failed slightly on the words " VATER LAND".
The second from this seller, a 92.R. with skull plate. An officer plate. Lacks quality and has several casting flaw bubbles and grains to the back.
The last from this seller I am not sure about. 96.R. plate. I have looked carefully at the images and cannot find anything wrong with. Am I missing something , or is the helmet guilty by association ? If its a genuine 96.R. plate, the start price may put most people off especially considering there are no confirming regiment stamps to the helmet.
Please have a look at the links to see if you agree or disagree with my conclusions.

The 92.R. with horse plate looks to have a steel rear spine. I don't like the lack of photos of the insides.
