As part of a trade deal, I now own a feldgrau DR 2 officer's tunic. The tunic is not named. However, it is in beautiful condition, well tailored and has some interesting features such as the breast flap pockets and the exterior document pocket on the left sleeve. It also has three additional interior pockets, and two support belt hooks at the rear. Based on the muted buttons and the muted shoulder boards, I would presume the tunic was made in mid- to late 1915, and the rank pips were added after that.
