Yellow is the wrong color for Dragoon Regt 12
see the correct color on this pair of epaulettes that are
in my collection .I call it deep purple. The books call it different
I am trying to think what regiment is # 12 / yellow ?
Did you look at Uhlan Regt 12 ?

The boards are with a officer dragoon pickelhaube. To me the helmet looks good but had no idea about the boards. It was listed a DR 12.

I don't understand the blue on the inside of the front and rear visors .The boards are with a officer dragoon pickelhaube. To me the helmet looks good but had no idea about the boards. It was listed a DR 12.

IMO the straps are not D R 12 and must be using them to call the helmet D R 12

I assume the blue under the visors was original owner’s request at time of purchase. I’ve seen dark green on both before. But I am not as experienced as many here. Helmet looked good to me but do you feel it needs to be posted in dragoon section?

it looks replaced to me
too new looking but that is not a big deal
