drawings from French Soldier during the war

My latest find is a series of 5 drawings that I got for my birthday from my three Daughters.

It consists of a series of drawings made by a french soldier during the war.

I like them very much, (got them few months ago, but put them in frames today).

As I'm collecting militaria, foremost headgear, (haubes, and helmet caps from al armies during the great war) this is something else, but not less interesting.

These drawings are for me a real eye-witness from the war, they show the man during off duty activities during the war.

As they are originals (not prints) they are unique,

Furthermore it is fun that my daughters did the effort to find such a appropriate gift, and apparently they don't dislike my hobby...
