I am going to express a personal opinion here regarding the dug items that are coming out of Latvia and at this moment and are being sold on Ebay. I see ridiculous amounts of money being spent on this stuff. Guys.....do not buy these items for missing parts to complete helmets......they are all pitted from being in the ground for 100 yrs. Because of this it will be glaringly obvious that they are dug parts put on 100 years after the fact. They are missing pieces as well eg...the thin prongs on the M91 posts, the soldered tin re enforcement on the underside of an OR's rear spine. Check the pictures out closely on Ebay, you can not hide the fact that these are dug items! The first time I saw them for sale, I also thought wow! a chance to get some brass fittings cheap BUT they look like crap because of the pitting. Unless you are into dug artifacts from battle sites don't waste your money.
