Hi,

The center of the front plate looks weird to me, seems some holes were patched??

Any comments?

Yes Joe, it is a policeman (communal police ) plate without its monogram (W)

I would not bid on it too.

If you like this kind on stuff, go to Sergio / militiar online.de
Better quality, better prices.

Eric,

I make no claims to know anything about police helmets, I just got my first reference. This picture was in the 1932 Junkers catalog and I think it is closer to the mark than a W. I really need to learn much more about these, only in that so many are passed off as military helmets.

Yes, indeed :oops: .

When I wrote a W moniogram, it was mainly an example of what we can generally find on a policeman plate.

If somebody has a pictures with all the Land and Cities police plate, I am interested!
