EBay.de Deutschland

What are your thoughts regarding these haubes, some interesting ones from EBay Germany.
Personally I'm suspect about one or two.

1. Prussian Reserve Artillery Officer - WW1

2. Hessian Dragoon Officer - 1910

3. Brunswick Reserve Officer

The third helmet is discussed in another thread on this forum: http://www.pickelhaubes.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=7697" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
On first sight I don't have a bad feeling about the artillery helmet, but its always easy to mount a reserve cross in order to upgrade it. The hessian helmet may be a parts helmet, although I am not completely sure but be aware because there is no return policy, which is suspicious if this is lacking.

Best regards,

Edwin

hello,
I am the seller of the hessian helmet.
Edwin, you said it's a parts helmet....but you didn't explained why...this is not serious.
I have bought this helmet like it is now, i have never disassembled this helmet....
I am not an expert, in my opinion it's a good helmet. I sell it because i need monney quickly...
I don't accept the return, not because i'm a liar or a thief, but because i have already been faced to a buyer who returned a helmet because he found another one most interesting.
So, if you aren't interested, it's your right. If you have any knowledge, share it. But do not make vague criticism.
regards
pierrick
ps: sorry for my poor english, i hope i was understood...

I personally see no red flags concerning the prussian Fuß Artillerie helmet and the hessian Haube. The prussian one unfortunately has some shell damages at the outside and on the liner...
I would never bid on the IR92 Braunschweig helmet.... [-X One "FR" too much....

I am sorry if I offended you because this was never my intention. However, I only said that it could be a parts helmet because I was not completely sure about it. It's just my opinion and I am certainly not an expert. Although I agree with you that comments in general should be substantially specified (which is something I did not do in this case), I just wanted to highlight some potential risks associated with ebay auctions like, for example, the absence of a return policy. Obviously, I was wrong here and thanks for clarifying this. You should not worry about your English because its perfectly understandable.

Regards,

Edwin
